Field Notes is a collection of five small works created for the group exhibition Play Ground for the New Artists Collective.

Each piece began as an act of curiosity — a way to move paint, test colour, and see what would unfold. Somewhere in that process, play turned into reflection.

These works sit between landscape and memory, capturing quiet observations of change, steadiness, and the beauty found in small pauses.
Through layered greens, soft skies and grounded tones, I’ve mapped fragments of what it feels like to find calm in the in-between.

Field Notes is where I let go of expectation and just play. Between the layers of colour and the curves of the land, I’ve found small notes of calm, honesty, and hope.

Each work is an original acrylic on canvas, framed in solid oak — available for pre-sale with collection after the exhibition.

Exhibition opens Friday 7th November - opening celebrations from 5pm at The Owens Collective, Islington.
